Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is a major focus for Nuqul Group, allowing us to create an impactful model to be emulated elsewhere. Empowering our community has been a motivating value for us from the very beginning, emphasizing our philosophy of “Growing Together.” Not only does this allow our employees to come together through social development, it emphasizes that if people come first within the Group, they should come first outside as well.
Environment
One aspect of "Growing together" means taking responsibility for using natural resources in the most effective way possible. This allows us to continue expanding in a safer, sustainable way. To that end, we have implemented environmentally friendly technologies at our plants and mills.
In 2007 and among the first companies in Jordan, Nuqul Group became a signatory to the United Nations' Global Compact Initiative, the world's largest voluntary corporate responsibility movement.

The Elia Nuqul Foundation was established in 2008 by the Nuqul family as a philanthropic entity focusing on social and economic development initiatives benefitting individuals and local communities within the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Foundation is governed by a 9 – 12-member Board of Trustees that is comprised of individuals with expertise from the private and civic sectors so they may assist in guiding the Foundation’s operational and technical activities in a strategic, sound and transparent manner.
